CONFIGURACION DE RED Linux, Solaris

En ubuntu, debian, se edita el ste. archivo:
* Direccionamiento manual
/etc/network/interfaces

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.100
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.254

* Direccionamiento dhcp

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

En redhat, fedora
* /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=static
BROADCAST=XXX.XXX.XXX.255
IPADDR=XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=XXX.XXX.XXX.0
ONBOOT=yes

* /etc/sysconfig/network

NETWORKING=yes
NETWORKING_IPV6=no
HOSTNAME=hostname

En solaris
Se habilita la tarjeta de red:

#ifconfig hme0 plumb

Para editar la configuración de red en solaris se editan los stes. dos archivos:
1. /etc/hosts
2. /etc/inet/ipnodes
